Timothy Owen Bradley, beloved husband, father, uncle, brother, son-in-law, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colorado surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Sioux City, Iowa on April 11, 1958 as the 4th of 7 children to the late Alfred Stephen Bradley and Beverly Lucille Bradley. Tim was preceded in death by his brothers Dennis and Johnnie and leaves behind his wife Lynne Bradley; daughters, Kristin Danae Bradley “Danny” and Kelsey Nichole Bradley “Nikki”; siblings, Steve (Brenda), (Johnnie’s Nancy), Rod (Nancy), Randy (Pam), and Bobby (LeeAnn); and many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Tim attended Sioux City West High School and later graduated from Oak Park Academy in 1976. He continued his studies at Union College in Nebraska where he double majored in Theology and Education. He graduated from Union College in 1981 and later went on to get his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate University, graduating in 1990.
Inspired by his grandmother, Viola “Flossy” Betsworth, Tim worked as an educator and youth pastor in Minnesota and then was called to California where he continued his ministry at the Alhambra, West Covina, and Glendora churches. In 1985, Tim created Adventureland Summer Day Camp, which ran every summer for 16 years and serviced 6 different churches in the Los Angeles Area. In 2001, Tim decided to shift to mental health work full time. He worked as a director of mental health, a clinical director, and later as a psychiatric evaluator. In 2008, Tim initiated his dream project called Pathwise Productions Inc., which aimed to help people reduce trauma and change unwanted behaviors. He and Lynne moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2018 where he worked at his practice full time.
Tim was a brilliant and extraordinary man with a wonderful sense of humor, a kind and loving heart, and a strong drive to make a difference in the world, which he was extremely successful in doing. He was both the life of the party and the person you could go to for advice and support. He loved everyone unconditionally and treated every person he met with kindness and acceptance without judgment. He believed that everyone is perfect, whole, and complete and doing the best they can. We think it is unfair that Tim had to pass away, but Tim would always tell his daughters that the only fair he knew of was in Pomona, California (the LA County Fair). Tim believed he was called to change the world, and later in life he said he realized it wasn’t the world that needed changing; it was exactly the way it was meant to be. So many lives have been improved and shown true peace because of his wisdom and love. We will remember him for his love of Reese’s Peanut Butter cups and dry “Dad” jokes. He will be deeply and forever missed.
