Theresa Constance Nichols

Connie is survived by her loving family: daughter; Diane Hensley of Mesa AZ, son; Dane Nichols (Johnnie) of Mt Shasta, CA, brother; Stephen Nyman of Amesbury, MA, sister; Marianne Leary of E. Kingston, NH, Grandchildren; Seth Meyers (Emily) of Mesa, AZ, Katie Nichols of Champagne, IL, Stephen Nichols (Amy) of Long Beach, CA, Aaron Meyers (Marisa) of Gilbert, AZ, and Ariel Nichols of Reno, NV, Great Grandchildren; Lexy Meyers, Avery Nichols, Vivian Nichols, October Nichols, Elizabeth Nichols, and Chalen Hall.

Connie loved to garden and had a vegetable garden every year from the age of 10 until she was no longer able. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She watched Jeopardy every night from the time the show began. She was also an avid reader.

We will always remember her kind and loving heart, her strength and her courage throughout her struggle with C.O.P.D.

Connie is preceded in death by her loving husband, of 54 years, Al. They met dancing and "he danced his way into my heart".

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial contribution be made to St Jude or Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix ~ AZ 85014.

Connie's Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday March 4, 2023 at 11:00 am, Swan Law Funeral Home Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs.
