Terri Valenzuela, age 67, of Colorado Springs, passed away on June 4, 2024, after a courageous eight-year battle with cancer. Her strength, determination, and bravery were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Terri dedicated 35 years of loyal service to the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), where she held a managerial position. She later retired at the United States Air Force Academy. Following her retirement, Terri joined forces with her daughter to contribute to the success of their family business, K9 Cuts and Care.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Luis E. Valenzuela, her son Jose L. Valenzuela, and daughter Christina Selvig. Terri leaves behind for cherished grandchildren, Michael, Thomas, Ashley, and Mia. As well as her brother, Mark Trent and sister Carol Hagan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 at Our Lady of the Pines Roman Catholic Church, located at 11020 Teachout Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80908. The service will commence at 10:30am, followed by a reception at 12:15pm.
