im her grand nephuew im 12 and i was 11 when she died and i remember she was a big part in our family she threw big thanksgiving parties

Tammy Jo came into my life 14 years ago. She became my mom. A women who shared her life with so many. She took my hand and showed me what this world could be . For her to always smile and look to the best of everything. Forever she will be missed . Forever she will hold a place in my heart . I hope to some day to become half the women she was . To Joe and her true family we will forever have you in our thoughts. Know we love you ..  

Tammy Jo you were my best friend and a great sister . I have know idea how i will make it without you . But will do my best to make you proud. I know the Angels are singing sweeter and there is a great celebration now that you and my sweet Annjolynne are in glory.  Rip Love your baby sister. Sherrie your biggest fan forever.  Ill see you again in Gods timing .

I feel very blessed to have known this amazing woman!  She was always positive and encouraging to everyone she met!  TammyJo,  you are very missed but we know you will be sending us your love and encouragement from heaven!  

So many fun and happy memories of time spent with cousin Tammy  during our years  living nearby in San Jose.  I am heartbroken for Tammy's  son, husband, and the entire Clark family.

I met Tammy when she came to work at Progressive, and quickly became close friends.  I was reconnecting with my faith and Tammy inspired me many times with her loving guidance.  When my own daughter was in a volatile relationship,  I truly experienced the prayer warrior that I was blessed to call my friend.  She would check in on me and see if I needed anything. Tammy talked about how much she loved her kids, she was so proud of them both.  My saving grace is knowing that I will see Tammy again. I send love and prayers to all of Tammy and Annie's family and friends.  God bless 💜

You are the angel God sent us to brighten our day.  Our hearts break.  I will always cherish you and your daughter ( did not have the pleasure to meet) . Until we meet again, fly high. 💕

The Lord wept the day you were so tragically taken from this land. You were a soldier on the ground spreading the love of Jesus. 
It was through my own testimony that reconnected us after many years.  
There are no words to express the sorrow that I feel losing you and your beautiful daughter.

I knew Tammy throughout my Fenton school days and was lucky enough to see her the last couple of times she visited Fenton.  She was always such a nice person and always left everyone with a positive feeling.  I was truly saddened when I heard of her passing and my thoughts and prayers go out to her entire family.

My deepest condolences to Joe, Dale and the Clark family. I met Tammy in Fenton, in sixth grade.   I can't remember a time that she wasn't smiling, her beautiful smile.  She was always friendly, and had the kindest soul.  Prayers being sent to all of you. 

I first met this young lady  43 years ago. We had been in touch lately.  Actually met her on a plane going to my sister's funeral. Ever since then we became close again. Listening to songs she wrote. Reading her poerty. She was a talent that will be missed dearly.  We would talk on the phone about everything, I will miis this. God  has you now with your precious daughter. Make sure you are together forever and always, my dear friend. I think of you daily and how much you will be missed by our entire family. XXOO. For you and Annie.

Tammy was a classmate from middle school on.  Our paths crossed a few times in those early school years. Mostly through band and a few classes.  Probably most memorable was the required "square dance" classes in Middle School Gym class with Mr. and Mrs. Larimore.   Back then, apparently some boys and I were comparing notes on who we were paired up with.  I must not have used enough enthusiasm when I said "Tammy Clark".  She happened to be passing by when I said it and she told me she was thinking to herself  "well you aren't much of a catch either!" 

 Tammy reminded me of this at our 40th class reunion in 2018. She teased me about that moment unmercifully.  Great sense of humor. Definite love for her family and a passion for God.  She shared with me that her faith got her through some tough times in life. Her music also was a source of peace and a way of expressing her convictions. A kind soul .

Rest in God's arms Tammy. 

Tammy, I wonder if you realize how many lives you touched with your kindness, love, and compassion for everyone you met.  Living across the street in San Jose, Ca.  from you will always hold many fond memories, of you, Tori, Lyle, Sherrie, and Kim and that friendship has lasted over 40 years  of many laughs, long phone calls, and enjoying hearing your new song you wrote.  My heart goes out to Joe, and your strong and amazing son, Dale, Tori, Lyle, Sherrie, Kim, and your many nieces and nephews that you loved with all your being.  You will forever live in my heart my dear loving friend.


Words aren’t plentiful enough to describe Tammy Jo. Every person she came across was gifted  with a smile. The gift of love and forgiveness from Tammy is unparalleled and I’ll honestly never be as gifted as she with that aspect of life. I admire her constant courage, resilience, devotion and love for human connection. We will ALL remember her for her bigger than life heart, her ability to bring goofy humor and a snort to any situation. My heart aches and our world is sadly darker with her being gone. My love and support are here for you, Joe and Dale! 

 I met Tammy when she moved to Chipita Park and  Annie attended Ute Pass Elementary.   We became friends in about a minute!  That was Tammy.  :-)    I remember when she worked at Home Depot and had the recognition or award (not sure what they call it) equal to "employee of the month".  I remember that moment because I thought "Yup!  Again, that would be Tammy!"  I can picture her standing there in that red vest.  Most importantly she was a strong believer in Jesus and it showed.  I am heartsick for her family as she will be greatly missed!    

I worked with Tammy Jo at Progressive and I remember her as being such a sweet, caring and helpful person. I knew I could always go to her if I needed any help or if I just needed someone to talk to. She was always smiling and could turn a bad day around be just being near her. Rest in peace Tammy.

I recall most every time Lobo, Lenny and Fingers would perform or  Sheryl and I would play music in Colorado Springs, I could always count on Tammy and Joe to come out and listen to us.  She was a great song writer and use to perform with her own band back in the day.  I say all that to say this...she was a sweet spirit, kind, and always had a smile for you.  She had so many friends who loved her and would consider her a resource to feel good about themselves.  I'm gonna miss you Tammy and your warm sweet smile. God bless and I'll see you on the other side. 

I have known Tammy since the 80’s. We reconnected in Colorado Springs in 2000. Tammy was by my side when my husband collapsed. As they took him away in the flight for life helicopter, she drove me to the hospital. She and Joe stood by my side as they herded me into a small room with a nurse and a priest. Tammy held his feet and prayed until he passed. She stayed the night with me and was there to help me face my first day so I was not alone.  I will love her forever. A true friend who would give you her last dime if it would help you. An angel her on earth, and in heaven. I  love you my friend. 

I worked with Tammy Jo for six years at The Home Depot and she was such a shining light every day! She always had a smile on her face and she had the patience of a saint! Customer's absolutely loved her and so did I......rest in peace my friend. The world has lost a  beautiful, caring soul who will be missed by so many people!

Tammy was a driving force in my life. She helped me get my first real job. She gave me courage to move across the country and stay with her and her warm, generous family. If it hadn’t been for Tammy, I would not have the family I have today. She inspires me to be a better human. I will miss laughing with her and the hours we spent on the telephone. Rest In Peace my very good friend. You remain in my heart forever.
