Sue, 
You will forever be in our memories. Thank you for your guidance, knowledge, and grateful for introducing me to card making.  I remember being afraid of you when I first met you back in 2005 but later realized your tough exterior was due to the business, otherwise you were always bringing kindness to others.  Your forever friend....big hug....will miss seeing you for now.

I was so saddened to hear of Sue's passing.  She is someone who is gone too soon.  I spent much time with her when she was a member of the Pikes Peak Chapter of Embroiderers Guild of America in the late 90s to 2004.  Her needlework was flawless and she was so fun to be around.   Then her hobby/interests change when she went into scrapbooking & cards.  And that's when we lost contact.  She was one of the nicest people I have known.    May she be at peace.  

As one of the ITT “old-timers” I had the great pleasure of getting to know and work with Sue.  We had a high-pressure job at times, but Sue had a calming effect on all of us.  When we rushed in with our hair on fire, we soon learned that Sue had it all handled and not to worry.  On those occasions when we worked all night to get a proposal out the door she was tireless, unflappable and always got us to the deadline on time.  One of the nicest people I have ever known.  May she rest in peace. 

This was heartbreaking news.  I have been a long time neighbor for many years.  I remember several summer days last year talking to Sue as she sat in her chair as many dragonflies flew around us.  I will miss seeing her sitting on her back patio.  Thinking of the family.  Rest in peace Sue.

Sue was one the nicest people I've had the good fortune to meet.  I loved making cards with her.  I missed spending time with our group after I moved from Colorado Springs.  Sending sympathy to her family and friends. 

I also worked with Sue at ITT. I will always remember her from the stories she told me of  riding her bicycle with friends along the back roads of Vermont. "Nothing can dim the light that shines from within. – Maya Angelou"



Sue and I worked together at ITT for many years.  We would work on proposals together and spent lunches working on needlework and craft projects and diffusing our job pressures with moments of laughter.  I loved hearing her tales of "stamping" conferences, journeys, and beautiful creations.  I retired from ITT/Exelis in 2014 and later chatted with her at Libracy 21C where she had stamping classes and I tai chi.  She was a wonderful person.  

I worked with Sue at ITT and had the pleasure of seeing her a number of times after retirement. She was so talented in many ways and such a gentle spirit. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.
