Sister Regina, 78, died peacefully at Mount Saint Francis, Colorado Springs, CO on January 1, 2014 after having served for almost 63 years as a Sister of Saint Francis of Perpetual Adoration. Theresa Ann Revers was born to Joseph and Frances (Goska) Revers in Omaha, Nebraska on September 10, 1935. Her parents were originally from Poznan, Poland. Sister Regina is survived by three sisters, Regina Jamrozy, Genevieve Jadlowski and Virginia Green; and two brothers; John and Al Revers. Her parents and three sisters, Sister Joella, Mary Kay, and JoAnn Revers have preceded her in death.
Sister Regina attended the Convent High School in Denver and joined the Sisters of Saint Francis in 1951. For a few years she ministered in support services in various convents in Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico and Colorado. In 1971 she attended Mundelein College in Chicago which prepared her for teaching; she taught in schools in Nebraska and New Mexico. In 2011 Sister Regina retired to Mount Saint Francis where she continued her ministry of prayer and caring. Sister Regina will be remembered for her prayerful life, her deep caring, her love of nature and love for her Polish heritage. AWake Service will be held in Canticle Chapel at Mount Saint Francis on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 5:15 pm and the Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, January 6, 2014 also in Canticle Chapel followed by burial in the Mount Saint Francis Cemetery.
