Shama graduated from St. Saviors high school in 1964. She went to nursing school in 1965 for four years and continued her education in administrative nursing and cardiology. She worked for twelve years as a nursing supervisor in different parts of Maharashtra state, India.
She married David Salve in 1969. They had three children: Sunil, Dorothy and Eunice. They also have eight grandchildren: Anjali, Isaac, Alayna, Shireen, Annelise, Simeon, Esha and Nazrene.
In 1981, David and Shama resigned from their jobs to enter into full time ministry as evangelists with brethren assemblies in India. During this time, the Lord used them to lead many people to the Lord and as a result several churches were started in Pune, India. Together, David and Shama served among assemblies. She was active among women’s ministry mentoring many.
David and Shama moved to the US in 2008 and have resided in Colorado Springs ever since.
She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and passed away peacefully on January 30, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
