She was born in Sadler, TX on October 4th, 1938. She graduated from Sam Houston
High School in Houston, TX in 1957. She lived in Houston, TX where she married the love
of her live and raised her family. She was an expert seamstress, a Girl Scout Leader, a devout
Catholic, a CCD teacher and first and foremost a wife and mother. Sally led the way to Colorado
after her children were all out of high school. She moved to Colorado Springs where she was an
administrative assistant at TRW Aerospace and MCI. She was an active member of Holy Rosary
Chapel in Cascade, CO and recently joined the Divine Redeemer Catholic Church after moving
from Cascade to Colorado Springs.
Sally is survived by her husband, Emanuel Paul Maywald, her children, Sharon Sheppard (Paul),
Susan Foreman (Aaron), Andrew Maywald (Tina), Catherine Boykin (Donovan) and grandchildren,
Shonna (Collyn), Caleb, Zachary, Kellie Anne, Ian, Kaitlyn, Ethan and Clayton. Sally is also survived
by her brother, Oscar Fraley (Beth), her sister Delores Purcell, her Sister-in-laws Rosedale Butler (Billy),
Barbara Scholz and her Brother-in-law Lawrence Scholz (Cornella).
Sally was predeceased by her parents, John Wesley Fraley and Hazel Lorraine Jenkins Fraley.
