Ruth was born October 18th, 1935 in Colorado Springs, CO to parents Paul and Olive Bramlett. She was the third of five children Paul Eugene, Esther, Phil and John. As a young child, growing up in Colorado she especially loved spending time outdoors with family and friends.
After graduating from Seibert High School, Ruth began work in the I.X.L. Creamery Soda Fountain located in downtown Colorado Springs. After several years, she moved on to work with the Colorado Springs Utilities Company. Later in life she fulfilled her life-long dream of opening her own business; as a Tri-Chem distributor and art instructor. Some of her most rewarding moments were spent assisting others throughout their creative journey with art and paint.
It was during her time as a team leader at the I.X.L. Soda Fountain that Ruth met her lifelong friend and husband Silva Pierce. Ruth and Silva were joined in marriage in Seibert, Colorado. Together they had two children Ray and Ginger Pierce and the family called Colorado Springs home.
As an adult Ruth especially loved her travel and exploration with family. She loved the beauty found in nature and she always considered her family and friends as extremely important in life.
Ruth is survived by her two wonderful children Ray Pierce and Ginger Pierce of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by her brother John Bramlett of Sand Springs, Oklahoma along-with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Ruth is preceded in passing by her husband Silva L. Pierce, brothers Paul Eugene Bramlett, Philip (Phil) Bramlett and her sister Esther Taylor.
