Ruth Bryant

Ruth was a powerful woman with a strong will that will be remembered by all who loved her. She loved going on cruises, vacations, and the car races with her husband and her sisters. She also loved going to Vegas! Ruth was an avid reader and was always up for a good crossword puzzle while drinking her sweet tea. Ruth was a stay at home mom for her adoring children while they were in school, and continued to take care of their family home into her older years. She was always there for her children and grandchildren and made sure that the people she loved always knew that she loved them. Ruth was an extraordinary woman and was a light that shined. She will remain a light living on in the people she held most dear and will be missed.

Survivors include her children Diane and Billy Hudson, Barbara and Ken Ehrlich, and Bobby Bryant.

Ruth is also survived by her brothers Earl and Jimmy Brown.

Ruth has seven grandchildren (Billy (Christina) Hudson, Jeremy (Sheila) Hudson, Daniel (Trina) Hudson, Justin Hudson, Sheri (Nick) Verdi, Robbie Bryant, and Michelle Matteson.

Ruth has twelve great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.

Ruth is preceded in passing by her beloved husband Bobby Bryant, and by her daughter Martha Dodge. Ruth is also preceded in passing by her parents (Earl and Ola Brown), her brothers, (Bill Brown and Calvin Brown), and her sisters (Janell Auten and Martha Hilbourn).

A visitation for Ruth will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. A graveside service will occur Friday, August 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. A reception will occur Friday, August 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
