Ruth was born on December 2, 1934 to Heinrich and Elsa Fichter in Kassel, Germany. She married Bobby A. Adams from Mayfield, Kentucky on November 6, 1952.
Ruth was predeceased by Bobby Adams and her sister Renate Weber.
She is survived by her children: Michael Adams (UnHui), Debra Young (Mike), Terry Murtaugh (Tom), her 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Ruth will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
A private burial for family only is to follow.
