Schultz, U.S. Air Force, re-
tired, age 84, was born in
Appleton, Wisconsin, on July
27, 1926, to Roy Schultz and
Marie Menning Schultz. He
passed away on December
24, 2010 in Colorado Springs
at the Village at Skyline.
Robert spent his youth on
the farm in Appleton and the
dairy farm in Blairstown,
New Jersey. Joining the Air
Force in 1950, he served his
country as an Air Force pilot
until 1971. He flew missions
in both Korea and Vietnam,
piloting the B-25, B-26, and
A-26 planes, earning 3 Distin-
guished Flying Crosses along
with over 20 other air med-
als. Bob also was an Air
Force instructor pilot, pri-
marily in the T-33. After
retirement, Bob completed
over two years of college at
the University of Colorado,
Colorado Springs, and
worked as a realtor in Colo-
rado Springs.
