Rob was a life-long sports fan with golf and football at the top of his list. Rob and his beloved father-in-law, Bill, attended The Masters Tournament on multiple occasions and played together often. Rob’s Denver Broncos tattoo spoke to his commitment to the team, through good times and bad. One of his favorite personal highlights was witnessing John Elway’s final home game at the original Mile High Stadium.
Rob dedicated his three-decade professional life to the healthcare industry. For over 10 years, Rob held several positions in the radiology department at Memorial Hospital where he touched thousands of lives and forged countless friendship. His second career with GE Healthcare lasted 20 years and afforded him the opportunity to travel thousands of miles across the United States, collecting crazy stories along the way (hopefully you’ve heard the one about the thumbless waitress in Olathe, KS).
The happiest chapter of Rob’s life began on March 20, 2005 when he married Robin. With her, he gained an amazing son and two wonderful daughters. Rob cherished nothing more than his crazy, rowdy, funny, loving, and perfect clan. He was a dedicated, devoted husband and father who treasured every moment with his family.
Rob is survived by his loving wife, Robin, his incredible kids, Landon, Emma, and Sophie, his German “son,” Soeren, his mom, Dorothy, his in-laws, Bill and Brenda, his brother Ryan and his wife, Amy, and his sister Renee. Steve, Rob’s dad, is waiting with open arms and a cold beer.
Join us in celebrating Rob on Saturday, December 7th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Patty Jewett Clubhouse. Casual attire suggested and Bronco colors are encouraged. Patriot colors will be asked to leave. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Rob Lowery Radiology Scholarship Fund at https://www.gofundme.com/f/rob-lowery-radiology-scholarship.
