

Robert D. Hollopeter (Pastor Bob) went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 3, 2025. His long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy is over. He passed at home peacefully with his beloved wife by his side.
He was born to Robert W. and Mary Ruth Hollopeter on September 28,1949 in DuBois, Pennsylvania. He grew up in the Denver area with his 4 sisters. After high school, he went to Washington D.C. to work for the FBI in the Identification Division in the fingerprint section. This is where he met sherry Molyneux. They were married a year later which began the first of their 7 lives. Their second life: policeman and later Chief of Police for Dillon, Colorado and elder at Rocky Mountain Bible Church. Their third life: missionary to Russia where he helped start and pastored the St. Petersburg Bible Church in St. Petersburg. Their fourth life: student at Frontier School of the Bible, LaGrange, Wyoming. Their fifth life: missionary in Tver, Russia. Their sixth life: Academic Dean and Instructor at Frontier School of the Bible. Their seventh life: Pastor of Roswell Community Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Sherry; his daughter Tami (Jason) Gingrich and his son Chad (Kris) Hollopeter, 6 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids; his 4 sisters: Marilyn Rhea, Barbara Wagner, Sharon (Bert) Kostedt, Linda (Ron) Campbell, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friday, May 9th at 1:00pm at Rocky Mountain Bible Church, Frisco, CO
Saturday, May 17th at 1:00pm graveside service at LaGrange Cemetery, LaGrange, WY
