Robert H. (Bob) Fisher, 93, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2017. He was born in Norton, Kansas, on January 4, 1924 to Fred & Edna Fisher, who preceded him in death, along with his brother, James Fisher. He married his first love, Edith Lorraine Helin, and raised two children. They shared 54 years of marriage before her passing in 1997. Bob had a full and interesting life and worked in a variety of professions over the years, to include farming, driving trucks, custom home carpentry, and heating and plumbing. He was able to fix anything and was a true “handyman”. He retired from Mountain States Pipe & Supply and enjoyed many happy years fishing, camping & traveling. In 1999, Bob married Barbara Frase Brown, with whom he shared the last 18 years. In addition to Barbara, he is also survived by his son Randy (Dee); daughter Dixie (Jim); granddaughters Stephanie (Chris) and Andrea (Don); great-grandchildren Ashleigh (Austin), Dalton, Wyatt and Emily; step-children Donna (Roger), Paul and Steve (Jan); step-grandchildren Ryan (Sarah), Tricia (Jon) and Ryker; step-great-grandchildren Kaleb, Campbell, Griffin, Emerson, Walker, Kinley and Maddox; his dearest friends Gary & Gail Gosage, as well as numerous other family members and friends. Services will be held at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO, Visitation Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. with Funeral Services Friday, October 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Donations can be made in his memory to Roswell Community Church, 2728 Beacon St., Colorado Springs, CO 80907 or New Century Hospice, 6270 Lehman Dr., Suite 150, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
