Robert W. Ahern, 79, of Colorado Springs, passed away on March 1, 2019.

He was born in Allegany, Maryland on August 21, 1939 to Joseph R. Ahern and Eva Butts. Robert graduated from Bruce High School and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.

He married Christine L. Copeland on June 28, 1978.

Robert had a career in the real estate business and worked for ReMax Advantage Group. He had a passion for hunting and fishing.

Robert is survived by his wife, Chrisitine L. Ahern; his children, Bill Ahern, Tim Ahern and Charleen Ahern-Riley; his grandchildren, Olivia Ahern, Ryan Ahern, Kelsey Ahern, Katie Ahern, Kayla Riley and Jessica Riley.

Memorial service with Army Honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
