Richard L. Pottenger, 80, of Colorado Springs, passed away on March 11th, 2021. Richard was born in Saint James, Missouri, on April 2nd, 1940. On November 30th, 1963, Richard married Rosalie Anaya, and cherished 57 years of marriage together. Enduring a rewarding career, Richard worked in Food Service, both within the U.S. Civil Service, as well as the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He will also be remembered for his passion of wood working.
Richard is survived by his Spouse, Rosalie Pottenger, and three children; Jacequline Croy, Kelly Oren, and Richard E. Pottenger. Also survived by Richard are three grandchildren; Nathan, Nickolas, and Niesa Pottenger. Richard leaves behind two siblings; Loyd & Dorothy Pottenger.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Mary Help Of Christians Traditional Catholic Church, 920 E Cache La Poudre St, Colorado Springs, CO 80903, on March 20th, at 10:00AM
