Renay Delane Montoya

Renay Delane Montoya (Charbonnel), age 65, passed away on December 3, 2016. She was born on July 21, 1951 in Dashler, NB to Leroy & Willa Mae Matheson. Renay grew up in Aurora, CO and graduated from Aurora Central. She completed her education at Regis University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. Renay worked as a controller for Hewlett Packard for 17 years. She then worked as CFO for the Colorado Springs Credit Union. She retired to care for her ailing mother. She was also a volunteer for the Pikes Peak Art Council as their treasurer. Renay is survived by her loving husband, Chris Montoya, her brother Dennis (Kathy) Matheson of UT, her brother in laws, John (Jody) NM, Jose (Sylvia) Pueblo, David Aragon and many loved nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents. The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses, and caregivers for their wonderful care. Also a special thanks to "Sharon" who was so willing to donate a kidney.

Visitation will take place on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. until 5 P.M. will a celebration of her to life to follow at 5:00 PM. at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Avenue. In lieu of flowers, please make a plate of cookies and take to your neighbors or a shut in.
