Ralph C. Young, of Falcon CO, formerly Colorado Springs and Denver CO, passed away at home at the age of 88. He is survived by his loving wife Delores, his brothers Alan (Sammie), Glen (Janet), many family members and close
dear friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved son Danny. Ralph was an extremely successful businessman most well known as the founder of Whitco Soft Jeep Tops which he designed himself and then produced. He was also inventor of the automatic 4 wheel drive hub and several other products that are in use today, all with
only an 8th grade education. He also had a very successful racing career as an owner
and car builder with a magnitude of wins and championships, and is inducted into the Colorado Racing Hall of Fame. He will be remembered for his generosity and firm advise.
Services will be held Saturday June 23rd, 11am at
Faith Bible Church 6862 Galley Rd, Colorado Springs, CO, reception to follow at the church.
