Ralph W. Chapple, a longtime resident of El Paso County, Colorado, passed away on July 18, 2016. He was born on July 17, 1929, in Newton, Kansas, to Francis J. Chapple, Jr. and Katherine Meyers Chapple.
While serving in the U.S. Army at Camp Carson, Colorado, he met his future wife, Faye Camden. Faye and Ralph were married on April 14, 1953. Their marriage and devotion to each other lasted for over 59 years until Faye’s death on August 13, 2012.
Ralph was preceded in death by Faye; his parents; his sisters, Helen Margaret Feather, Virginia L. Adams, and Anita Jean Bigger; and his nephews, Kenneth Feather and Gerald Adams. He is survived by his niece, Karen Feather Gale, and his nephews, John Adams and James Adams.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 24, 2016, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 25, 2016, at Swan Law Funeral Directors, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
