Philip Leroy Archuleta, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on June 2, 2016 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born in Durango, Colorado, May 26, 1937, one of five children of the late Eufemio and Epifania Archuleta.
Philip served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years and honorably retired in 1977. He was an active member of Alcoholic Anonymous, Holy Apostles Church, Knights of Columbus, Kairos, and Cursillo, He enjoyed bingo and fishing. He also enjoyed hunting with his grandson.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, devoted wife, Bonnie, loving daughter, Laura of Colorado Springs; grandchildren, Megan and Zachary; and precious great-grandson, Alex; siblings, Juanita and Jacob, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will take place Wednesday June 8, 2016 from 4-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Swan-Law Funeral Directors 501 N. Cascade Ave. Colorado Springs, CO. 80903. A Funeral Mass is scheduled Thursday June 9, 2016 at 10 am at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 N. Carefree, Colorado Springs, CO. 80917. Private burial will take place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.
