In 1971 while I was stationed at Ft Meade, MD, I was invited to the Browers home and heard Paul share the Navigator's Bridge illustration.  Paul spoke with me about God's plan of salvation through His Son.  2 weeks later I asked Christ to make His home in my heart.
In 2014, Paul, knowing I had been diagnosed with Non-hodkgins lymphoma, sent me a booklet by Jerry Bridges, 31 Days Towards Trusting God.  That book has ministered to me many times and I have made it a gift to my children.

Phyllis, Martha and I grieve with you and your family and rejoice that Paul is home with his Savior.  We remember our dinner at Colonial Williamsburg with you both as you watched our son, Micah, march with the Fifes & Drums.  We so enjoyed being encouraged by you and Paul.  Paul's sharing of the Bridge Illus. was the first time I had heard the Gospel in the Brower's living room in 1971.  Because of Paul's obedience to God's  will in his life, 49 years later I can testify to God's grace in my life.  In 2014, Paul sent me Jerry Bridge's "31 Days Towards Trusting God" when I was going through chemo for lymphoma.  I can't tell you how challenging and encouraging that devotional has been to me.  Paul called me several years ago to assure me he was okay when he had just begun his journey with alzheimers.  I look forward to seeing him again.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
