Patrick James Gorski

Patrick was born in Boise ID on October 15, 1986 to Jon and Patty Gorski. He was the fourth of five beloved children. Patrick spent the first 13 years of his life in Boise ID. Patrick excelled in several sports growing up, including swimming, soccer, and skiing. Some of his favorite childhood activities included going boating, fishing, camping, skiing and of course running around the neighborhood with his siblings and friends. His fondest memories are with his family. He looked forward to going to Santa Cruz in the summer to visit his grandparents, where everyone spent hours playing in the ocean and walking the boardwalk.

With his parents and youngest sibling, in 2000, Patrick moved to Colorado Springs. He graduated from Air Academy High School in 2005. After high school, Patrick attended Colorado State University where he studied history and became an avid CSU Rams fan. Following college, Patrick continued his love for the outdoors and moved to Silverthone, CO where he worked for Vail Resorts. He was passionate about the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, biking, and skiing. After spending several years in the mountains, Patrick moved to Denver where he discovered his passion for HVAC. Patrick excelled at his courses and soon became a certified HVAC technician. Patrick took a lot of pride in his work, and with his huge, loving heart was always willing to help anyone, whether it was HVAC related or just a friend in need.

In 2015 Patrick made his way back to Colorado Springs where he became an HVAC tech with Legacy. During this time, Patrick continued to love his work and enjoyed family events including weddings and the births of his niece, Marisa and nephew William.

Patrick is survived by his parents Jon and Patty Gorski of Colorado Springs CO, brother Joe Gorski (Cindy) of Denver CO, sister Annie Gorski (Brendan Haddock) of Boise ID, brother Steven Gorski (Christa) of Seattle WA, and brother Matt Gorski (Ragini Acharya) of Charlotte NC. In addition to his family, Patrick is also survived and remembered fondly by his caring friends.

Funeral arrangements have been made by Swan-Law Funeral Directors. A funeral Mass service will be held on December 14, 2018 starting with a Rosary at 10:30AM followed by a funeral Mass at 11AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Colorado Springs CO. Patrick will be placed in the St. Francis of Assisi Columbarium directly following the service.

Patrick was an avid lover of animals and a caretaker to many family animals. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pikes Peak Humane Society in Patrick’s name.
