Patrice Lynn Roberts Washington

Patrice Lynn Roberts Washington was born on April 16,1959. She was born to Loretta Goodwin and John Craigmile. Patrice was later adopted by her stepfather Charles Roberts in Chicago. Patrice was the first born of 5 children she had 2 brother David and Brian, she also had 2 sister’s Tina and Michelle. She was also the first-born grandchild of Virginia and Gilbert Reynolds.

Patrice was blessed to have 2 children Gigetta and Orlando along with her daughter in-law Marquetta. Patrice was also gifted with 2 grandchildren Whisper and Christian she was also blessed with 3 step- granddaughter’s Kaylanna, Alena and Destiny. In which she loved them all the same with all her heart and soul.

Patrice was married on June 7, 2012, to Deacon James Washington. She then began her journey of following the Lord and she was baptized by the late Bishop Brazier in Chicago, Illinois. Patrice fought a good fight and finished her race as she made her way onto her heavenly transition on July, 14 2023. And although she achieved great accomplishments, her greatest one of all was her love for the lord and her family.

Patrice is preceded in death by both of her parents Loretta and John, her sister Tina as well as her daughter Gigetta. Patrice is survived by her husband Deacon Washington, her son Orlando and his wife Marquetta, her sister Michelle, her 2 brother’s David and Brian. Her Uncle Greg, her 2 aunts Adrian and Charlotte, all her grandchildren, cousins, nieces/nephews, friends and fellow laborers in Christ our Lord.

A Visitation for Patrice will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Story Church, 2520 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
