Monica (Urban) Moberly, 93, of Colorado Springs passed away on July 19th, 2018. She was born in Bison, Kansas on May 4, 1925 to Jacob and Bridget Urban. She is survived by her sons, Brad and Danny (Leslie) Moberly; grandsons, Clint and Ross Moberly; great grandson, Dalton Moberly; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, George Moberly.
Monica was known as “Aunt Monica” to all who knew her. She loved baking for, and feeding anyone and everyone who came to visit, her door was always open. Monica worked along side her husband in their boot repair shop for many years. Later they travelled together throughout Colorado and Nebraska, as sales representatives for several western boot, belt and buckle companies.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at Penrose Main Hospital (3rd floor) and to Pikes Peak Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.
A visitation will be held Monday, July 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Funeral Services on Tuesday, July 24th at 11:00 a.m. both at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
