Max Adolph Martinez, 88, of Black Forest, Colorado, died July 2nd, 2016. He was born on November 14, 1927, to Roger and Julia Martinez in Del Norte, Colorado. Max was an army veteran, and worked as Material Control Supply Supervisor for the Rocky Mountain Arsenal and Air Force Academy for many years. He enjoyed working for the Ski Broadmoor for several seasons, and also served as a Sheriff Deputy for El Paso County. Max is survived by his wife, Teresa Martinez and daughter Julie A. Singer. Max was preceded in death by his sons, John and James Martinez. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A rosary service will be held on July 13th, 2016 at 11:00am, followed by mass at 11:30am at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church. 11020 Teachout Rd, Black Forest, Colorado.
