Mary Elizabeth Rogers

Born March 14, 1947 in Portland, Kansas and adopted by Guy and Bonnie Moon. She died peacefully on her own terms surrounded by family on July 21, 2016 at 12:55 p.m. in Colorado Springs.

She is survived by her mother Bonnie Bell Moon , her husband of 51 years, Steve Nolan Rogers; three children Kim Rogers, Coy Rogers and Jeremy Wachter (adopted forever); grandchildren Christopher Gillette, Michelle Howard, Travis Howard, Zachery Watrous, Johnny Smothers Jr., twelve great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Mary also wanted to remember her multiple sister and brother-in-law’s, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors and yes you misfits and jackasses that she loved.

Viewing for the family will be from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, July 29th and for friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home,

as well from 8:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday Morning.

Funeral Celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. Saturday the 30th at Memorial Gardens (Academy & Airport) with burial to follow.
