Mary Ellen (Rogers) Englert 98 of Colorado Springs, passed away on October 7, 2016. Mary was born August 10, 1918 to the late Allen and Frances Sloan in Kansas City, Missouri. Mary married Raymond George Rogers and had 8 wonderful children. she was a homemaker and caregiver to all. She loved children, outdoor adventures and cooking.
Upon Mr. Rogers passing, Mary found love again and married Leonard Englert.
Mary is survived by three sons, George Rogers, Ralph Rogers, and Robert Rogers; two daughters, Katie Rogers Conway, and Ruth Scott; and a sister, Annie Finley as well 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, husbands Raymond Rogers and Leonard Englert, daughters, Linda Cowan, Patricia Scott and Karen Marshall.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910, with graveside services to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave, Colorado Springs, CO. 80903.
