Martin Stewart, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on June 21, 2014 at a local hospital. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
Martin was born on December 28, 1970 in Colorado Springs to Milton and Mary (Magee) Stewart. He met Victoria Salvador Inson in 2003 and they were married on April 23, 2004 in the Philippines. He graduated with a degree in criminal justice and was working as a security officer for Colorado Springs Security Services.
He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos, loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was very talented at building and fixing things around the house, and enjoyed fixing old cars. He will be remembered for the way he always helped others. Above all, he was a wonderful husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria; two daughters, Megan and Athena; and his mother, Mary Stewart. He is also survived by his brother, Mike (wife, Alice) Stewart; his sister, Melinda (husband, Michael) Lee; and 11 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5375 Centennial Boulevard. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
