She was born to the late Margaret Beatrice Danielson on October 21, 1932 in Clinton, Iowa.
She was married to Johnie L. Bailey in Colorado Springs, Co January 13, 1958. Marjorie is survived by her three children: Michael E. Bailey, Sarah D. Sullivan, Jane M. Eatman and step-son Jerry Bailey. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Steve, mother Margaret, sister Phyllis and brother Richard.
Marjorie was a very strong willed woman. After graduating College she went on to serve the Clinton IA School District. Marjorie taught third grade for five years. She then moved to Colorado to pursue a new life. She married Johnie and they created a wonderful life had four children together and served our Lord for 13 years together. Marjorie always had a passion for children. She continued to raise her children on her own. She worked for Colorado Dept. of Child Services for 20 years. During that time she taught young Teens in church and held occasional Bible Studies. After retirement she continued taking care of her grandchildren at times. Marjorie loved to read, sew and do a variety of arts. We know she will now be singing with the Angels and Christ our Lord in Heaven.
Services and Burial will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Friday September 4th, 2020 services will begin at 1pm burial at 2:30.
