Maria Carmen Kolb, age 84, passed away on February 24th, 2020, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Kolb’s late husband, Ludwig L. Kolb, passed on February 1st, 2018. She is survived by her three daughters Theresa L. Kolb, Michelle E. Kolb, and Eva M. Kolb. Mrs. Kolb has two loving sons-in-law, Kazunari Kuno, and Michael Rabiodoux. She also is survived by five grandchildren; Thomas Joseph Tallent, Robert Tallent, Ines Rabidoux, Joaquin Kuno, and Liam Kuno.
Mrs. Kolb was born in Zaragoza, Spain, and was the oldest child of Jose Escosa and Piedad Pablos. Mrs. Kolb’s family includes a younger sister, Piedad, now deceased, and a surviving youngest sister Pilar. Mrs. Kolb’s surviving family in Spain include her brother-in-law, Valeriano, and her three nieces Piedad, Maribel, and Azucena. Mrs. Kolb met and married her late husband in Zaragoza, Spain, and resided with him and their three daughters in multiple European countries where her husband honorably served the U.S. Air Force. After their retirement, Mrs. Kolb and her husband returned to the U.S. She was a loving mother and wife who devoted her life to her family and home. Mrs. Kolb enjoyed fashion, travelling, and classic films. She was a faithful Catholic and will be remembered for her honesty, kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. She will be interred on Monday, March 9th, at 2:00 pm, in Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72 Sarasota 34241, Florida.
