Margie C. Sanchez

Marjorie Connie Sanchez was called to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Margie was a resident of Colorado Springs. She was born in Fort Garland, Colorado in 1934 to her parents Isais (Ike) Montoya and Leonarda (Gonzales) Montoya.

Margie was a dedicated wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She attended Blair Business College; she also attended Pikes Peak Community College and was awarded an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. She worked for many years at Fort Carson then retiring to tend her beautiful flower gardens. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

She is preceded in passing by her beloved son, Ralph Sanchez Jr.

She is survived by her Husband, Ralph Sanchez Sr. of 65 years, Daughters Jenny Sanchez and Linda Hofer and Husband Glea, Grandchildren, Michael, Buddy, Nathan, Matthew, Heath, Tony, Stephanie and numerous Great Grandchildren, her loving Sister Leve Porter, Nieces Sheila Murray, Denise Cevalos and Nephew Danny Porter.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with funeral services following at 12:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910.
