Margaret Lorraine Apgar

A private funeral service will be held Friday, December 8, at Swan Law Funeral Home Chapel, Cascade Ave. Friends may call from 4 - 8pm Thursday at the visitation service at the Swan Law Funeral Home.

Mrs. Apgar was born January 19, 1919 in Drumright, OK to George Elmer and Monnie May(Lusk) Merkley.

She was married for 53 years on August 3, 1940 in Tulsa, OK to Melvin Apgar who is deceased. She lived in California for 48 years before moving here in 1991.

She is survived by two sons, Ron of Colo. Spgs, and Don of California; three daughters, Meg of Ventura, and Jeanne and Joyce of Colorado Spgs.; 10 grandchildren,13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church for years.
