Born on April 17, 1953, in Xenia, Ohio, he was the son of the
late Frank and Edith Davidson.
Mr. Davidson was active in the Boy Scouts of America and
earned the Eagle Rank with palms and the Hornaday
Conservation award. He graduated from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, and
received bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering and in Spanish. He was a
member of Phi Beta Kappa Society; Omicron Delta Kappa, senior men’s
honorary; and Engineering Honor Societies Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu.
Mr. Davidson’s first engineering job was with Proctor and Gamble in Cincinnati,
Ohio. and he finished his career with Honeywell in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Lynn was an outdoorsman, a naturalist, a very good photographer by avocation; a
professional engineer by vocation; and a traveler often using his fluency in
Spanish.
Surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law; Lee and Katherine Davidson of
Aiken, South Carolina, Robert and Nancy Davidson of Columbus, Ohio, and
several cousins, nieces, and nephews. A third brother, Roy Davidson,
predeceased him.
Funeral arrangements will be in the future for the immediate family only.
Donations may be made in Lynn’s honor to the Boy Scouts of America or to the
American Cancer Society.
