Loretta Louise Wilson passed away on September 15th, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Etlah, Missouri on August 31, 1930 on the family farm to the late William and Myrtle Meyer. She was one of six children.
She has two children and a daughter-in-law in Colorado, Pamela F. Penn, James Steven Penn and Janette P. Patton.
Prior to settling in Colorado Springs in 1958, her and her husband lived several years in Bermuda enjoying the tropical island. She had a lifelong joy for planting and growing vegetables, abundant flowers, roses and trees. She loved the natural world but liked technology as well.
She attended Pikes Peak Community College. She worked most of her life in electronic manufacturing technology. Throughout her life she had a keen ability to solve problems with an eye and knack to understand how things worked.
Visitation will take place at the Swan-Law Funeral Directors at 501 N. Cascade Ave in Colorado Springs at 11 am on September 26, 2017. A memorial service will follow at 12 pm after which she will be buried alongside her late husband Lewis G. Wilson in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado at 2:30pm.
