Aww Linda, What a tremendous blessing you were to my family! Because my parents could not live together you were the bond between them and to me. First you cooked wonderful meals to keep my Dad “Big Ed” fed and functioning. Once he made the move to live with Kevin and I, you did the same thing with my Mom, Penny. You not only provided nourishment to her body, more importantly you provided nourishment to her soul, becoming a most wonderful, loved friend. It was so much fun listening to the giggles and the conversation you both had with each other. It warmed my heart. Linda, you will be sorely missed, and yet your spirit of kindness lives on. Aunt Linda will always be in my hart. She did alot for me and my family. Always there when we called on her. Made us feel like family. Grew up with the family .
I got to go to my first Bronco game because of them. You could call Linda and talk to her any time and no matter how long it had been she was happy to hear from you. Christmas partys at the bar and all the fun we would have spending time there. I was always invited on the trips to Pueblo to hang with the rest of the family. The legacy will live on through the family and friends. ❤

I will forever hold a special place in my heart for our 2021 Wildwood vacation. From dolphin watching on the boat where we all ended up soaking wet, spending our days on the beach, fun nights on the boardwalk and all sitting around the table playing cards after our long days…it was all so much fun! I am forever grateful for the many laughs & memories made throughout the years. I’ll miss you, Aunt Linda. We love you.

I will miss my dear sister in law Linda but I know in my heart she is with Barry and they will watch over us! I am so happy that we got to spend last summer together at Wildwood NJ we shared many laughs shopping and just hanging on the beach , until we meet again Linda give Barry a kiss for me!

Linda (Mom), you are a special soul who loved her family very much. I cannot even count the many times you made us a meal over the years...and your cooking was awesome. :) We both have always loved experiencing new things and seeing new places. You were always up for a trip to explore a new place. It always blessed my heart to see how much you loved our daughter, Ashley...and she so loved you. :) It was so nice to take those walks with you and hear your stories of adventure in your younger years. I learned even more about the amazing person I had known and loved for 25+ years. It was wonderful to see your relationship with Colleen grow so much over those last few weeks you spent with us before moving on to see your husband. You will be truly missed, but I also know you are having a blast on your new adventure. Love always, James

My Auntie Linda was such a fun person.  She was always kind and fun.  She was a joy to be around.  She was arnery sometimes which made her even more special.  She always welcomed you into her home with love.  I never felt embarrased or shy around my Auntie.  She was very old school and you had to show respect and give hugs and kisses, which was great too.  I loved talking with her she always was very positive and always asked about my mom and dad, which always made me feel special.  She loved very big and was always talking about her family so full of pride!  She was a very beautiful woman inside and out and will br missed very much.

I was very saddened to hear about the loss of Linda. She was witty and vivacious and she had always been welcoming towards me. I remember watching and learning to play poker from her and the family. Man she would egg me on to play hahaha, but I truly enjoyed just watching and basking in the laughs and entertainment of all around. Like her family/friends, I was also a fan of her tacos and always felt grateful that she would think of me if she was making some to bring to Colleen’s and knew I was going to be there. My heart goes out to her family as they mourn her loss and I pray they find comfort in their collective memories of her. For me, I will always remember how kind and caring she was towards me. Linda, you are missed ma’am! <3

One of the things I admired most about Linda was her strong faith! She and I connected about our shared faith often and the last time I saw her we had a brief opportunity to share our faith again. We shared a brief conversation on Holy Saturday, I was about to go to the sunset service to celebrate the arrival of Easter at vigil with her grandchild Ashley. Linda loved the sunset service and wanted to know all about where we were going and shared her memories of attending sunset services in years last. In that moment, I saw the hope of Easter in her eyes and the love of our Lord in her heart. She knew she was in her final weeks, and while she couldn’t make the sunset service this year, her family ensured she made her last Easter service, which was so important to her. Her faith was steadfast and she knew she would be in the arms of her savior, and her husband, soon. I know they both warmly greeted her and wrapped her in love when she arrived. 

One of my favorite memories of Linda is when she started calling me “my Jess.” You see, I’m not a member of the family, I am Colleen’s best friend; for a while, I was unsure if she even cared much for me and then one day she started asking Colleen “how’s my Jess?” I just got the biggest kick out of that! She always took the time to talk to me at events and ask how I was doing. She could be feisty and she was definitely fun. I’m saddened for her children, grandchildren, and family who mourn her loss and know she is already so severely missed! 

In 2017, right before going over for tacos at Grandma’s, I stopped and got a tattoo. When I walked through the door, she gently picked up my arm, and said “I don’t know how you could do this to yourself”. But then she smiled, and gave me a squeeze and offered me some food. The absolute definition of unconditional love.

Continually in our thoughts and prayers. We are so very sorry for your loss and know she will remain close to your heart as you move through the days ahead. 

You will be missed dearly Mom.  You treated me as one of your own and always had open arms and warm heart to cheer me on when I lost my own mom.  Watch over us and protect us.  Condolences to the family. Love you

I learned to play Nurtz with Uncle Barry and Aunt Linda, and what a blast! We also played 31, Progressive Rummy, Spoons, and Canasta. 
What a wonderful person! Kind, Caring, and Honest! Aunt Linda was not afraid to speak her mind, but she loved fiercely!! She was a great cook also! 
I have many fond memories of the family house on Willamette.  I truly love you, Aunt Linda,  and I'll be seeing you! 
May God give the family peace and comfort as they grieve such a great loss.
