

Linda Lee (McGrath) Beck, 76, passed away on June 21 in her Colorado Springs home. She was born in Ohio to Nicholas and Rachel McGrath on July 1, 1947. She graduated from Madison High School in Mansfield, Ohio.
Linda worked as a Secretary and Treasurer for the Seventh-day Adventist Hill Church in Mount Vernon, Ohio for several years. She later managed a campground in Loudonville, Ohio. Linda also served as an elected trustee of her rural electric cooperative. As a trustee, she took great pride in representing her rural community and learning the benefits of new technologies. After retiring, she moved to West Virginia, where she was active in the Martinsburg Seventh-day Adventist Church and also volunteered in the community at food banks, school lunch programs, and other activities for the underserved.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Chuck McGrath; and her sister, Leslie McGrath.
She is survived by her son, Christopher (Shanna) McGrath; daughter, Melissa (Curtis) Jamison; brother, David (Anita) McGrath; and granddaughter (Gloria Rose).
Private services will be held, and she will be buried with her parents and sister in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Seahorse Hawaii Foundation, which she fell in love with when she traveled to Hawaii to honor her 70th birthday.
