Lew Morgan

Lewis Leon Morgan, age 86, of Colorado Springs, CO. passed on December 12, 2015 at The Gardens. Lew had many talents: he served in WWII, as a radio operator, husband, father, postman, carpenter, truck driver and retired with Westone Ear plugs Lab in Colorado Springs, CO. Mr. Morgan was born, June 11, 1929, in Bastrop County near Jeddi, TX. to William (Bill) and Mamie Morgan, (both) deceased. Mr. Morgan had two older brothers, Tomie and Ronald both of TX. (both) deceased.

Mr. Morgan had four children; Phyllis Gregory (Rich}, Melonie Hesli (Don), and Madison all of Colorado Springs, CO. Preceding Mr. Morgan in death was a son in infancy. Mr. Morgan married Dixie (Jimeson) Templeton, July 4, 1993. He had four step-children. Mr. Morgan was blessed with 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

A Private Celebration of Life will be held. Lew will be laid to rest, Monday, December 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
