Lenore was born in a small country place in Victoria, Australia.
She had 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Her father was a general contractor, building roads and bridges.
Lenore attended country schools and graduated from the London School of Music. She taught music for
a short time.
On February 1942, she met Ralph Olson and they were married in March 1942, together they had 6 children...
4 boys and 2 girls.
In 1949, While living in Kansas, Lenore and her oldest daughter contracted polio both survived.
In September 1950 the Olsons moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado.
In 1960, MSgt Olson was assigned to Alaska. In 1964 his orders sent him and family to Baltimore, Maryland.
In 1967, with orders to Ft. Carson, the family returned to Colorado.
In 1996, Jeremy Olson, the youngest child, was buried after losing his battle with cancer.
In 1999, Lenore lost her husband Ralph.
She leaves to mourn her; 5 children, several grand-children, great grand-children and great-great grand-children.
