Dear Darryl,Heath and Family
I am so saddened to hear about Laurie. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Even though we have not been close in recent years I have many fond memories of Laurie
and have always considered you all "family".  I know the pain of losing a loved one prematurly and please know I share your sorrow and also the joy of knowing we will all be reunited!  Please take care of each other because greiving is necessary but time will help you heal. I love you all and look forward to seeing you in the not to distant future.

We already miss that bright smile. The memorial service so eloquently  described our beautiful sister. Now it will be up to all of us to make sure we are there to see her in the resurrection.  She fulfilled her last obligation which was endurance to the end (Matthew 24:13).  Her fine loving example will give us all more incentive to achieve that same goal. Thinking about her record of faithful service brings joy to our hearts. We're especially glad that Laurie had the privilege of working at the assembly hall. We're so sorry that we are not able to attend the memorial service because of the storm. We are with you in spirit and prayer. May Jehovah comfort and sustain you day by day with his unfailing tender care.

I first met Laurie as a teenager. What a loving and beautful Sister. So sorry for your loss.

Laurie is my role model. When I grow up I want to be just like her. An imitator of Christ,beautiful from the heart to the tips of her toes. Amongst the crowd and commotion in the new system, I look forward to my turn in hugging Laurie and welcoming her back.

My condolences go out to Darryl and Heath. Laurie will be missed by all who knew her. We look forward to seeing her again in the new system. May Jehovah's blessing comfort you during this painful loss.

Darryl, Heath & family..I am so sorry.  It reminds me of losing Eddie. Cancer is so limited, it cannot cripple love, shatter hope, corrode faith, kill friendship, shut out memories, reduce eternal life,quench the spirit & last but not least cannot lessen the power of the resurrection.

Although I never met Lauran Marie (my first cousin by marriage), I can see by her picture and the short account of her active life that she was very loving and fun and much loved. Darryl, please accept my heart-felt sympathy for you and your dear family. Sincerely, Linda Lee Gerber

I know this is supposed to be some words about my beautiful sister Laurie who will be forever remembered as a zealous, yet humble servant of Jehovah, but from my earliest memories onward when I think of her I see Darryl by her side. He has ALWAYS taken impeccable care of her, loved her, protected her and supported her every desire, right down to her last breath in this system of things. Thank you, Darryl for being such a sterling example of how a Christian husband should treat his wife. Please know that we also eagerly look forward to the day when Jehovah gives her back to you.

Darryl our hearts go out to you and the family.  I was so shocked when I saw this on the website yesterday.  Since we no longer live in Colorado it's hard to keep up with what is happening with the friends.  We will always remeber her pleasant smile and very loving positive attitude and hugs.

I have know Darryl and Laurie all my life. During good or even some of the bad times in my life they always loved me unconditionally and always had open arms. Laurie truly demonstrated how to make a good name with Jehovah God! She will continue to be an example to follow and a pillar in our community and most importantly in our congregation and our organization ! Til we meet again my friend may you rest in Jehovah's memory.

For all of us who had the pleasure of meeting, knowing or having Laurie in our lives...knew she was a force to reckon with when it came to her love for Jehovah and others. 
She was so genuine and generous. Made you want to be a better person. Made you stop and see the joy in each day. 
I treasure all the hours and hours of phone therapy, laughing, crying, planning and encouragement. So many things left undone. 
When Laurie wakes up again... I have no doubt she will hit the ground running! She will want to know all she has missed and hopefully we are all there to fill her in!
Even though our hearts are broken now, very soon we will see that bright smile of hers and that infectious giggle. 
May Jehovah comfort us all, but especially her family, as we await that day!!

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Sister Simmons. I did not know her but i can't wait to meet her in the new system. My prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathies on the passing of Mrs. Simmons.  My memories of her were in elementary school when we were kids and how much she cared about everyone.  Always a nice person who was always someone we couldn't wait to see at school when she came to visit Heath.

Laurie was such a sweetheart!  Her smile was contagious and she was a genuinely caring and loving person.  It was a pleasure to have known her.

I can honestly say I would not be who I am today without the ever faithful presence of Laurie in my life. Laurie and Darryl have been instrumental in almost every major event in my life since I was 17, even introducing me to my husband. I cherish all of the memories I have, what a blessing. Laurie touched so many lives and will be greatly missed. Time will not pass quickly enough until she is with us again. My love, thoughts and prayers are with Darryl, Heath, Heidi, her grandchildren, siblings, family and countless friends at this difficult time.

Laurie was such a rock and a person I could always go to for advice or comfort. Her devotion to jehovah was such a motivation and encouragement. She loved the young ones so much, I always felt comfortable around her. I know how much she will be missed until we see her again. What a joyful time it will be to see her wake up in the new system! Keeping the family in our thoughts and prayers.

My heart breaks for this loss. I can't wait to give her a hug in the new world.
