Kurt Nolte passed away on May 13, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, September 3, 1961 to Maurice G. Nolte and Sylvia A. Nolte. He lived in Columbia, Missouri and in 1969 Kurt and his family moved to Colorado Springs.
Kurt graduated from Wasson High School in 1979. He attended Pikes Peak Community College and the University of Northern Colorado. He worked for Safeway for a number of years and became a deli manager.
Kurt loved cooking and trying new recipes. He had a good sense of humor and a hearty laugh. He liked to keep up with the latest movies. He is survived by his parents of Colorado Springs and his sister, Baya Clare, CSJ, of St. Paul, Minnesota.
A memorial service will be held at first Lutheran Church on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. A reception at the church will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church, 1515 North Cascade, Colorado Springs, CO.
