Kristin then went onto Humboldt State University to study history and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in 1992. She loved her time in the redwoods. After graduating, she returned to the Bay Area and worked for Pacific Bell and Pottery Barn, before moving to Colorado Springs in 2003. Kristin wed her partner Angela Hackett-Larson in 2016. Kristin and Angie loved to travel, and enjoy live music and sports with their friends. Since her diagnosis, Kristin and Angie traveled far and wide to visit friends and family, attended concerts and cheered on their favorite teams.
Kristin is proceeded in death by her mother, Nancy Ruth (Wills) Larson (1944-1990) also to cancer and father-in-law Chris Alan Hackett (1955-2020).
