Kevin Jay Wheeler

Kevin graduated from Mitchell High School in 1979. After High School he opened his own concrete and landscaping business. This year he was voted best landscaper of the year in Colorado Springs.

Kevin is survived by his grandma, Tillie Hammond, mother, Marlene Schoon, sister and brother- in- law Kari and Greg Davis, and his niece Casi Calu. He is preceded in death by his father, Max J. Wheeler.

Kevin worked hard and played hard. He was an avid golfer and loved the outdoors. Kevin will be remembered for his humor, kindness, and his gentle spirit. He served as a mentor, and friend to everyone he came in contact with.

A memorial service will be held Thurs. Oct. 24th at 10:30am at the First United Methodist Church, 420 North Nevada Ave., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903. Reception immediately following the service at the church. A memorial fund has been set up for Kevin Wheeler in his sister’s name, Kari Davis, at ENT Federal Credit Union.
