Kenneth John Smith

Kenneth was born November 7, 1960 in Neptune, New Jersey. He grew up in Freehold, New Jersey and graduated from Marlboro High School in 1979.

Kenneth served in the US Army, as a tanker, from 1982-1992, being stationed at Ft. Carson, Germany, and Korea. He worked for the Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway from 1996-2008. He also volunteered for the East Freehold New Jersey and Security Colorado fire departments. He enjoyed scuba diving and model trains.

He is survived by his wife Christine L. (Magginetti) Smith, sons Benjamin J. (wife Sophie) and Leon J. Smith, brothers James B. (wife Crystal), Michael H. and Theordore R. Smith, uncle Robert H. Foltz and extended family. He is preceded by his parents John H. and Mariann E. (Foltz) Smith and baby sister Susan Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fountain Colorado American Legion Post 38 at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
