She was born on November 8, 1939 in Sebring, Florida. She married James Clinton Zajicek and they raised their family in Colorado Springs. Karen was a devout Christian and enjoyed her church, family and friends. She loved doing crafts and making her personalized cards.
Karen is preceded in death by her husband, James Clinton Zajicek; son, Jace Callyn Zajicek; sister, Geraldine Allyn Whalen; and her brother Arthur Paul Allyn.
She leaves behind her loving family, James Zajicek (Kelly), Jadrian Zajicek, Trina Tyler (Kit); sister, June Allyn; brother, Thomas Allyn; grandchildren, Aaron Michaud, Justin Rohlfs, Katherine Sebre-Zajicek, Krystal Patrick and Jonathan Zajicek; great-grandchildren, Carleigh Michaud, Chloe Michaud, Ruby James Patrick and Gabriel Sebren-Zajicek.
