Karen Bullard

Karen L. Bullard, born 9/1/51, passed on into God’s arms on 2/8/12. Her passing was at the Penrose St. Francis Medical Center, she was a long time resident in Colorado Springs. Karen was a wonderful homemaker, after she retired from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. She also was a part of Acts 19:11 therapeutic horseback riding and was a wonderful teacher of animals, such as birds and horses. Karen did love her volunteering opportunities, but she loved her family more. Her Husband, Robert Bullard, has been alongside her for the journey since 9/16/74. Karen and Robert tied the knot in Las Vegas, Nevada and have been inseparable since then! Karen brought a beautiful family into this world as well. Karen’s daughters are Heather Tenpenny and Amanda Davis. Karen has several loving grandchildren who are; Destiny, Tia, Dar, and Justin. Karen loved teaching her grandchildren about animals and history! Karen's parents are Larry and Gwen Burleson, they had raised a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. We will be celebrating the life of Karen L. Bullard at: 10475 Thomas Rd, 80908, Black Forest, CO. David Peters will be our minister and all of Karen’s loved ones are invited! The services will be 2/19/12 at eleven o’clock AM. We thank God that Karen was able to share her life with us and to teach all of us! You will be greatly missed, we love you and miss you Karen. Rest in Peace with the angels.
