I still look for you - can't tell you how many times when I saw someone from the back, I said "Oh there's John" but it wasn't you. Or heard a laugh that sounded like yours. Or..or..or.. I miss your wonderful hugs, and our great talks, just miss you, my friend.

A year is gone - hard to fathom. I see your face and hear your laugh so often. Miss you a whole lot, my friend.

John and I have been friends for years and years. We have been teammates as well and he was a wonderful mentor to me in our chosen sport. But above all my friend. We shared so much and he was just an easy genuinely nice and caring human being. My light on this earth is a little dimmer with his passing. I will miss your wonderful hugs - who am I kidding -  I will miss everything about you See you beyond the veil, my dear friend.
