No honor to say I have known you all my life, but it feels similar to this… Your bright smile and the inner light that one can see and feel being emitted on the outer side are your big heart that does not fit into your chest and makes me feel warm. 
How much I appreciate seeing you guys fooling around with Daniela - so happy to see you happy. No past sense, everlasting memory.
Something I owed you, please forgive me.

John, you will be deeply missed.  You brought a light into Daniela’s  life, that I pray she will continue to see.

We love you , dear Daniela, and we are here for you.  May the memories of all your adventures together carry you through the difficult moments.




I will always be grateful to John for the unconditional love, joy, and happiness he brought into Daniela’s life. They were incredible  together. I will miss giving him a tough time. You you be loved with cherished memories forever John. 

John was such a nice soul.I remember when I went to Denver he along with Daniela took care of me like a family. It was amazing to spend time with them and was such a pleasure to know him in person.

We all know how John loved cars, especially old ones that he could work on.  This was his first fixer upper,  March 1968 at Hakata Japan. 

True friends are hard to find but John was a great friend to have. He would do anything and everything for you. We know each other in high school and had the same friends as we do today. We like the same music, drank the same beer. Wish we could have been closer in  distance (Me in AZ and him in CO) but never stop him and Daniela coming to visit in Parker. Watch the football games and hang out telling stories. He always had a project going like, fixing up boats.  We would meet up and go camping at the Grand Canyon every year. Being at their wedding for him and Daniela, the love of his world. Max is really going to miss you too! This years trip wont be the same without the winner of the safety belt , inside joke. Will see you next week and we will have a few more beers and talk a little more. I will miss you my Augsburg brother and great friend. Until we meet again. PROST. 

Our family is very pleased to make a donation in John's memory to the Victory Service Dog organization there in Colorado.

I will always think of John when I think about Florida. 

I am going to miss John soo much. He always made me laugh,  mostly at his projects I would help him with. I always wondered how he'd get me sucked in to all these random projects,  but I'd do anything to have 1 more random project with him. 

John fixed my old boat 1988 to look brand new ,was amazing ,I had him fix my battery charger and clean and buff my new boat as well as fix my atvs ,was always a pleasure to meet with him ,we always shared the same views on things ,and had a lot in common ,wish I could of hung out with him more .great guy .

There were a lot of happy times when Patty and the kids stayed with Grandma Pat and me during times while David Fitzpatrick was out on assignment.  Chris, our younger brother, and John were just 6 months apart in age and neither one wanted to be called nephew or uncle.  I would take the boys up to the park or elementary school  to play.  When we were all older, David brought the family out to California for a visit with us.  This picture is of John, Patty with Dennis on her lap, David, Tracy and Cheryl.  John you will be forever missed but never forgotten.  RIP John.

John was a great person. An even better grandpa to my boys. Especially Raiden. They had a special bond. We loved going to Florida, cooking out steaks, and working on anything with a motor. We will definitely miss you. We love you.

John was a good friend, I thought of him regularly for the past 30 plus years. Whenever " jukebox hero" by Foreigner comes on the radio he's right there with me.  Condolences to all those who loved him

The day John came to my baby shower and afterwards helped me put together my sons stroller and car seat.

Great memories . 

My favorite memories will always be working on cars, or other projects together. From just handing you the tools to finally being able to tackle the project together. Early morning fishing at our local lakes, to deep sea fishing in Florida. The many trips we took together from California to New York and everywhere in between. You taught me how to always keep pushing forward and look for the solution in whatever problem there was. You were a great, wonderful, loving man and you taught me how to be the same. 

John and I had the pleasure of meeting cousin John and his wife, Daniela, when we took the family out on a random trip to Colorado.  It’s a shame that we were not able to spend more time getting to hang out and know one another better. Nonetheless, John will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. 

John was my best friend in high school, my partner in crime. We had a lot of good times together, almost all of them legal.   :)
I will miss him very very much!
