John was born in Colorado Springs on August 4, 1925 to Narcissus and Luther Bramlett.
He married Wilda Chapman in 1943 to which 3 daughters were born to them. John is a WWII Vet, serving in the Army where he fought in Northern Italy.
John is survived by Wilda, wife of 73 years, daughters Glenna (Roger) Allen, Jacqueline (John) Korb, Yvonne (Larry) Pemberton, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Viewing will be Monday, Sept. 5, 2016 from 3-5 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road.
Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 317 E. Kiowa St.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
