John, to this day I won't put my elbows on the table! You got my attention with that one!  Thanks for always keeping an eye out for Alex.

John, you were always such a joy to have meals with. You kept me on my toes in conversations.  One  had to get up pretty early to beat you at the quick wit game! I always hoped your table would be open so we could join you for a meal. You didn't spare the servers,  either! Miss you, friend!

John was a very special friend to us and to his friend Alex Donatto. We ate many meals with John. He would always make us laugh especially when pretending to steal our food. He would always tell us that we could leave sooner then later.  He would always have that mischievous smile on his face. I have been blessed knowing John and his family and we will miss you. TILL WE MEET AGAIN!!!!!

Always, John would try to sneak our food to his side of the table to see if we were paying attention.  He was so kind to wait, and make sure our dad, Alex Donatto, was squared away with his meal, before John would leave the table.  I always enjoyed his quips, and watching him order his forevermore fried eggs, or PBJ sandwiches, and 2 desserts,  no matter what it was. John would frequently say farewell,  after the meal, by saying, "Till we meet again. "  So, John, thanks for the memories,  and, till we meet again, rest in peace.  God bless your family during this period of grief. 

I was honored in getting to know John as he was often a regular table mate with my dad, Alex Donatto at Winslow Court these past few years. He always had a quick remark to make about anything that always left a smile on our faces. He was a gentle soul and good friend to Dad. Grant him eternal rest, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May John Rest in Peace and his family find peace in his memories. John was never at a loss for words bringing laughter and a smile . May the legacy he leaves behind become a comfort to those who knew and loved him. Deepest sympathy to your family and friends.
